NEXTGEN INFORMATION

“GO LIVE” DATE FOR NEXTGEN – June 7, 2021

On or after June 7, 2021, filers will use one singular user name/password (aka Central Sign-On) to access PACER to electronically file documents in our CM/ECF system.

You have an existing CM/ECF e-filing account for our district, but do not see Civil or Criminal filing options when you log in

All CM/ECF filers must take certain steps in order to continue to file electronically on or after June 7, 2021. To determine whether you are prepared for NextGen, click here to review the NextGen flow chart or follow the instructions below.

You must link your CM/ECF account to your PACER in order to be able to file electronically. Click here for instructions.

You are requesting access to file after June 7, 2021

  • Individual PACER Account – If you do not have an individual PACER account, click here for instructions on how to register.
  • Upgraded PACER Account – If you already have an individual PACER account, you must upgrade your account or verify that your account is already upgraded. Click here for instructions.
  • Request e-filing privileges for the District of VermontClick here for instructions on how to request access to file electronically. Once approved you will receive an automated email letting you know your request has been approved.
